I've generally enjoyed the RE series; it isn't great cinema, but it is fun and Milla Jovovich is great as Alice. But this latest entry is just schlock. The plot is convoluted and the acting is terrible. The effects aren't special at all. I think it may be time to put this franchise out to pasture.
