Review of Resident Evil: Extinction (2007) by Billy B — 14 Nov 2010
Alice is hiding from the world. She resorts riding through the desert plains and stumbles accross a group of survivors. They all atempt to travel accross to a place where their seems to be no virus.
Good. The third film in the series was another good flick that entertains the whole way. More great action sequences keeps the viewer constantly on edge and thrilled. More zombies, more massacre scenes and the film's conclusion is another open-ending that was predictable enough to make your eye's roll.
The plot was another extension to the video game adaption, and definately the arid sunny sands of the desert were a great pick. The whole isolation part of the plot makes the viewer gracefully uncomfortable, and some unexpected zombie attacks were placed well.
The acting was good. Once again, Milla Jovovich was great as heroine Alice, and beside her was another ass-kicking heroine in the form of Ali Larter. Both were great.
Overall "Resident Evil: Extinction" is anenjoyable film plagued with zombies and great action sequences. My rating is 3/5.
