Still a mess just like the first, but still pretty fun. There are some slow moments though, but the action scenes are decent and there's a lot of cool moments. Plenty of zombie and creature action, but the film still suffers from confusing plot and bland dialog.
It's still dumb fun, but a bit slower than the first film.
