Review of Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) by Nathan T — 24 Jul 2011

Surpirsingly, this may be the best of the Residetn Evil films. The story is well paced, action scenes are decent, except for the big ones like the executioner strangely. The acting is surprisingly good, particularly Wentworth Miller as Chris.

But boy, did they fuck up with Wesker. Albert Wesker is probably my favourite video game villain ever and I was itching to see him kick ass, but instead we got a scene for scene rehash of the fight scene from Resident Evil 5 adn some crap about him struggling to control his virus which was never in the games, and what the fuck was with the things coming out of his mouth? Anyway, despite that massive flaw this is a very well put together movie.
