Review of Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) by Justin J — 22 Nov 2011
Anyone who sat through the first three entries of the "Resident Evil" series knows that they don't exactly take a lot from the original games other than a few names and basic premise. They also know that the series wastes no time worrying about having a worthwhile plot, good acting, or any semblance of depth.
No, it's time once again to see Mila Jovovich unrealistically slice, dice, and shoot her way through a non-stop barrage of infected zombies and other creatures. If over the top, over-stylized action is your thing, you could do worse.
But this is a step down from even the average action flick. Score: 4/10.
