Dreadful. I am sorry to say that Paul Anderson completely botched the fourth in the series of the RE films. Maybe it would have been better in 3D, but in 2D, the action sequences looked like they were trying to hard to be the Matrix, the acting was horrific (yes, even from Jovovich), and the movie faded to black way too many times for my liking.
It didn't flow and I did not enjoy the action sequences very much. Next time, keep it to 2D, at least the special effects and stunts look better than when they are slowed down to the speed of paint drying.
Overall, rather painful to watch.
