Review of Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) by Mark James A — 31 Oct 2013
The acting and story is passable, it's hard to overlook these flaws but when the action scenes in 3D emerge you'll be blown away by the truly immersive 3D effects, jaw dropping action sequences, head banging soundtrack and extremely impressive fight choreography, all this elevated by the excellent cast starring the sexy Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Boris Kodjoe and Wentworth Miller, who battle an onslaught of zombies in a ruined world and aim to bring down the Umbrella Corporation, all this set in an abandoned prison which they think is safe.
.. This is bloody good fun! Axes, bullets and a barrage of objects rip out the screen in 3D and the battles are excellent, Milla Jovovich proves she is the sexiest and coolest female action hero. A highlight in the Resident Evil series.
