Review of Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) by Lara W — 22 Aug 2013

I'm a big fan of the resident evil series and Resident Evil: Afterlife was no different. It was an action packed film from start to finish following Alice's journey to bring down the umbrella corporation.

I was a bit confused about how there were many clones of her towards the beginning of the film and then how there was only the original Alice throughout the rest. I realise that the clones from the beginning died but at the end of Resident Evil: Extinction we saw multiple clones in the end of movie but that was not a massive problem either way just something that confused me.

The rest of the film was a mish-mash of special effects, gore and action and It was brilliant; the stunts performed by the character of Alice were well executed making the audience feel like she can do anything.

I was gutted when the character of Luther West appeared to be killed of but, sorry to ruin the end, he hasn't been and later appears at the end of the film and in the next film Resident Evil: Retribution.

The end of the film is left on a cliff hanger and after watching this you won't be able to wait for the next one.
