Review of Resident Evil (2002) by Julien G — 01 May 2012

When I was younger I enjoyed playing the Resident Evil video games, they were actually one of my favorite games to play and when they actually made a Resident Evil movie I was pretty psyched to watch it and when I actually did I was just horrified.

I was horrified that they changed the whole story, I was horrified they got Milla Jovovich to play Alice and I was even more horrified that they got Paul W.S. Anderson to direct this movie. Resident Evil is neither a good horror movie or a good video game movie, it's just flat out a piece of crap.

The one thing I will give this movie is the Action scenes, yes there was pretty good Action in this movie and also it was pretty violent, but all that couldn't make up for how shitty this movie is.

This entire movie got the whole story completely wrong, they forgot to put in certain characters that should have been in this movie and also the actors that were actually in this movie were just terrible, especially Milla Jovovich.

I really thought after directing the Mortal Kombat movies Paul W.S. Anderson couldn't get any worse, but of course I was wrong. Resident Evil is a total piece of shit that just ruins the video game! My god I hate this movie so much.
