Resident Evil is a brilliant Survival Zombie film that has some promising and excellent ideas. The plot of this film is about a team who infiltrates an underground facility called The Hive to shut down the computer called the Red Queen and soon the team must escape when they started encountering zombies and they all must escape before they all get killed.

I love this movie a lot and I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil games although when I watched the film the movie itself doesn't look like a video game adaptation at all because the movie acts more as a stand alone Survival Horror film rather than a video game adaptation or Science Fiction Action movie like the later on sequels of this movie because the later on sequels has a lot of tie ins from the games and the sequels are also mixed with Science Fiction and Action elements while this movie was more on suspense, intensity and thrills and it doesn't have any tie ins from the games at all due to the film's concept being a bit more of a stand alone Survival Horror film rather than a video game adaptation and as much as I love the games I also like this movie not as a video game adaptation but more of a stand alone Survival Horror film.

What I like about Resident Evil is that unlike other video game adaptations this movie has a different style and concept and the movie itself doesn't have any characters from the Resident Evil games and has its own characters that were created by director Paul W.

S. Anderson and that's what I like about Resident Evil because the only things I know that they took from the games are the zombies, the settings and the licker monster from the Resident Evil 2 video game.

The other things I like about Resident Evil is that the film has a lot of magnificent settings and I love the mansion in the opening scene and I love the underground facility called "The Hive" at the same time and it totally looks excellent for a survival Horror film for one reason.

The other things I like about Resident Evil is that the film also has a lot of scenes that are thrilling and intense. The laser scene where the first group of the team gets killed by getting cut by the lasers is one of the best parts of the film.

Scenes with the zombies are thrilling and the electrifying finale with the licker is one of the best parts in the whole film and I love all of the suspense in this movie a lot. One of the other things I like about Resident Evil is that the whole film has a lot of magnificent looking creatures and zombies and the zombies never look scarier than ever in this movie and I love the way the zombies look like in this film a lot even the design of the licker is fantastic plus the zombie dogs are damn scary in this movie and I overall enjoyed all of the monsters in this film.

One of the other things I like about this film is the soundtrack of Marilyn Manson and Marco Beltrami and I love the songs in the whole movie and its fantastic and Beltrami's soundtrack is perfect and it really sounds like a survival song even Marilyn Manson's soundtrack gives the whole movie the intensity and thrills with its electrifying soundtrack and I overall love the soundtrack composed by both Marco Beltrami and Marilyn Manson.

Ok I admit that the CGI is quite outdated and there's hardly any gore in the movie but I overall love this film a lot. Now the acting is great all of the casts did a magnificent and excellent job with their work on the film.

Milla Jovovich did an amazing job with her role in the film as the protagonist Alice and she looks so cute and gorgeous plus sexy at the same time and she's not only good with her acting in the film but she also has a nice physical appearance.

Michelle Rodriguez did a magnificent job with her role in the film as Rain Ocampo while the rest of the casts did a good job with their roles in the film and overall the casts did a fantastic job with their work on the movie a lot.

Director Paul W.S. Anderson did a magnificent job with his work on this movie and I love his work on this movie when comparing his work on the fourth and fifth Resident Evil films because his work on the sequels have a lot of action elements while his work on the first Resident Evil is a Horror film that had less action but more suspense and I love his work on the first Resident Evil a lot I can't wait for his work on the sixth Resident Evil film.

Overall this movie gets a 10/10 because this movie doesn't focus as a tie in with the Resident Evil games and acts more as a stand alone Survival Horror film with lots of thrills and suspense.
