Review of Resident Evil (2002) by Noah M — 26 Jun 2013
The name of the game is survival. It is the same with any zombie movie. Resident Evil is based off the game, but it uses original characters. The purpose of that was to emulate the player's feel of the game when playing it.
You follow Alice in this story as she tries to recover her memory. She of course is bad ass while doing this. There is no happy ending here. It life or death for all the characters. You go on this journey with them surviving zombie hordes.
It is popcorn action and a fun ride. It was clear from the beginning that the creators of Resident Evil wanted this to be a film franchise. Fun movie to watch.
