Review of Reservoir Dogs (1992) by Franzhcritic — 08 Jun 2014
This is Tarantino's beginning, not 'Pulp Fiction', although 'Reservoir Dogs' barely hits at the marker. However, its script, acting (particularly Keitel, Madsen, and Buscemi), and cinematography help set in motion the quintessential neo-noir 'Pulp Fiction'.
I hadn't recognized that many modern cultural references came from Tarantino, including the "world's smallest violin".
