Review of Reservoir Dogs (1992) by Josh W — 29 Dec 2012
One of Tarantino's best, it is unique in that it shows the events that happen as a result of a heist gone wrong. Instead of the movie being about the heist, it is about how far a group of strangers are willing to trust one another after realizing that there is a rat amongst them.
Tempers flare, emotions boil over, and through the use of extensive dialogue sequences, Tarantino manages to establish tension with very little action thanks to the well written characters and the fantastic acting, primarily from Harvey Keitel and Steve Buscemi.
