Review of Rescue Dawn (2007) by Not L — 14 Jul 2009
I never decided if I thought Bale was really honing in on his character or not. I felt like they could have told a better story. Well honestly, this story would have been amazing in the hands of another director but it would have never been picked without Herzog's obsession with rain forest excursions.
Soooo knowing Herzog can show a man go insane effectively makes me think it was a struggle between his art and the actual events that took place. (He should have just gone all out Herzog on this movie).
