Review of Rescue Dawn (2007) by Joe B — 01 Jan 2009
This is good movie. For those who abhor violence, you might find this one more than tolerable, not your typical war movie. Really puts in to perspective the "rules of engagement" and how they different with SE Asians as opposed to warring factions in Middle East/Afghanistan - captives were fed and kept in good health - not beheaded! Although I don't agree with all of the values espoused in the film, Dieter Dengler is an inspirational in many ways, showing the better side of humanity when our back is against the wall.
