Compelling true-life story and filmed with true dedication by Herzog. I can only admire the allusions he continuously makes in his films in reference to the harshness and unforgivness of nature (see the giant buzzing, and real-life, beetle hanging on a string over the hapless imprisoned Dieter as example).
