Christian Bale just might be one of the greatest actors of our generation. This movie is a little slow and not much is going on, but it does keep you focused. After he crashes into Viet Nam Dieter Dengler is into real trouble.
He meets Steve Zahn and Jeremy Davies in this pow camp of some sort and that's where most of the movie happens. After they get out it's about 10 minutes till he gets rescued. So if you got time, and like slow war related movies.
..it might float your boat. Just watch Steve Zahn's head near the end...it's the most random, out of no where beheading I have ever seen.
