Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by Ian R — 20 May 2014
Dark, and well.
It's wonderful as emotion as art...
But so painful as a person...
One should have the balls to make this is good,.
This hides little, like a sonata it all goes up,.
Up to drug induced failure.
So up? Or down...
It leaves you with the obvious if it's not already clear...
Drugs are personal, they are In you.
You can say anything about It but it is what it is...
As is the process of art... I am shocked by film all over again.
