Everything about this movie is fantastic. The score, the acting, the story, the writing, the directing, the visuals, literally everything. No movie has ever left me feeling so hopeless before, and to this day it is the only movie that has physically shaken me.
Requiem For a Dream is a masterpiece in every sense of the word and it might very well be the best movie of the 2000s thus far. If you haven't seen it, I implore you to watch it.
