Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by Mayurakshi D — 01 Jul 2018

This is definitely an art house movie and not for main stream audiences. The quality and commitment of the actors is amazing, the editing is over used as a plot devise but this counter balanced by excellent use of the sound track.

The remortless desent of the self destructive cycle is powerfully constructed, while I admire the technical skills that are on display in this movie, it was just too much for my over sensitive nature!
