Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by Jan Briane A — 17 Feb 2013
And while I am at loss for words to describe what overwhelming horrors this film presented to my innocent eyes, I could not help but feel a great sense of attachment to this movie-- like a son to his own mother; that by virtue of example and tale-telling, I would not dare delve into such world of moral corruption.
And while I dare not ask for reprise, the images are sketched into my mind forever. Well done, Darren Aronofsky. You have forever scarred my emotional reserves. Well done.
