Review of Repulsion (1965) by Kim A — 01 Oct 2007
Bear with this one. It starts very slowly, but builds a chilling sense of unease for the first hour. Then, all hell breaks loose, as the main character's tenuous grip on reality totally disintegrates.
Polanski uses some great cinematography plus some stunning effects to draw us into a young woman's madness.
