Review of Repulsion (1965) by Darryl J — 25 Dec 2007
Roman Polanski's directing is wonderful in this movie. It feels like your right there in the room with the characters.
Catherine Deneuve is perfect as a extremely paranoid and sexually repressed woman. The way the film manifests her own paranoia into her apartment is very terrifying.
The music is also very effective in creating a very tense and scary mood.
