Review of Repulsion (1965) by Chris V — 29 Feb 2008
My father with great reverence considers this the scariest movie he has ever seen. I wanted so earnestly for it to have the same effect on me, but I just found it slow and ineffectual. I can see what Polanski was trying to do (and he obviously had limited funds to do it), but it just doesn't quite work.
Ah well.
