Review of Repulsion (1965) by Y'ng Y — 25 Aug 2009
It won't be so difficult to imagine how it is like to be mentally unstable after watching this film. Catherine Deneuve plays her role convincingly, and her cracking up within ends up being reflected in her surrounding space (cracking walls and such), and she herself becomes a horror as she is driven to do things she normally wouldn't dream of.
. the potential of that limited space of a flat is maximized for creeps, as she falls further into madness..
