Review of Repulsion (1965) by John M — 05 May 2010
"RepulZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZion" is a claustrophobic psychological thriller which has a haunting cinematography. Some of the visuals in the film are striking and I actually enjoyed the murder scenes and I felt the rapes were suffocating. Acting and directing are very good. Technically speaking the movie is great aside that the story is too long and too slow that it was hard for me to keep the attention and I had to stop it several time and hope to see it ending soon.
I would give it a higher rating but the pace didn't help it with me.
