Review of Repulsion (1965) by Nikolai H — 12 Jul 2017
The glorious cinematography alone makes this worth seeing - it's really a gorgeous film. But it's also highly intelligent and atmospheric, giving a great sense of disorientation. Creepy but not exactly scary.
Wonderful film score. Not exactly realistic in any sense, but that doesn't matter to me - it creates its own strange dreamworld.
