Review of Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008) by Vanessa P — 10 Dec 2010

So, Anthony Head is in this (yum) and so is Alexa Vega (boo). I'm thinking the major flaw was in not really having a storyline. It was about the repo! man, but it wasn't. It was about his daughter, Shilo, but it wasn't.

For a science fiction rock opera, there was some serious lacking in the science department, that didn't help the story along much. My suggestion (keep in mind I'm in undergrad for Chinese and finance, so not really the authority on rock operas) is maximize on Nathan's story, minimize on Shilo's, fluff up the back story a little, and give it a decent plot.

Like, oh say, the revenge of repo! man against his egregious employer whilst battling his MPD. I'm just saying, this could have been better.
