Daryn Lynn Bousmanns ambitious horror musical should be a huge cult classic. Centering around a single father whose job is to repossess organs customers aren't paying for. The angst comes from his inflected daughter played surprisingly well by Alexa Vega (Spy Kids).
There's of course more to it but I don't want to spoil it if you haven't seen it. Anthony Stewart Head (Buffy the vampire slayer) is amazing in the lead. Also impressive are Paul Sorvino (Sorpranos), Skinny Puppy, Bill Moseley( Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2),Sarah Brightman and even Paris Hilton.
The music is great and the movie is ultra gory, has some creative animation and lively direction. It truly is one of the most unique films ever made and although it should be a hot mess which it is a little but it all surprisingly works.
