Review of Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008) by Andy S — 06 Apr 2012

I absolutely love this movie. Anthony Head puts on an outstanding performance, as does the rest of the cast. The music is very well composed, I have all the songs on my MP3 player as a matter a fact, and I can play them over and over and they never get old.

The plot is something is just the kind of thing that made me so interested. The story conveyed such emotions in me I actually cried, which, I would expect is normal when dealing with a great opera. It has revenge, blood and gore, sex, drugs, death, amazing costumes, and even a cameo by Joan Jett! I was amazed to find out this was adapted from skits done in night clubs! Bravo!
