If Darryn Lynn Bousmann had tried to pull a Sweeney Todd type movie where it had enough music to be considered a musical, I bet this movie could have been a cult classic. But instead, it was a mixture of Sweeney Todd and Hostel part II. And a combination of the two calls for a poor but acceptional outcome. Not saying this is an acception movie, but merely misses the "piece of sh-t" borderline. Sorry for the language but Paris Hilton?? Seriously.... Repo! The Genetic Opera is filled with some major plot gaps, lots of unecessay gore and the film cannot be taken seriously.
