Review of Repo Men (2010) by Andrew D — 15 Apr 2011
A film of three parts...it starts well, drags a bit in the middle, and is an absolute crock of shite at the end.
It starts off on an interesting note as it sets up the premise and introduces the characters. In different hands it could have gone on to be a good action film with a point to make. The problem is that once Jude Law's character gets his artificial heart, the entire film descends into some sort of half-arsed Logans Run wannabe, before an ending which is not only stupid and needlessly bloody, but comes with a huge twist which renders a lot of the film completely meaningless.
Only watch if you want to see an interesting premise frustratingly wasted.
