Review of Repo Men (2010) by Leah C — 18 Jun 2011

Fun, fast, and... well, really extensively bloody. I couldn't help but think of the organ donor scene in Monty Python, that's how much gratuitous gore was flying around. Unfortunately, the movie leans a little too heavily on fake blood and Jude Law's prettiness, and the plot oozes away somewhere, leaving what could have been an awesome cyberpunk masterpiece sortof wallowing and bumping into corners like it got a bit drunk and can't seem to remember where it left crucial plotholes and important pieces of character development the next morning.
