Repo Men is a smart idea for a movie that just doesnâ(TM)t seem to find its footing, and tries to be too clever at the end.

Letâ(TM)s put it this way, the way Repo Menâ(TM)s storyline was going, it couldâ(TM)ve been an awesome film. It starts off interesting enough and has a great chemistry between Jude Law and Forrest Whitaker as best friends. Even their boss played by the always awesome Liev Schreiber had great scenes with the two as well. The problem is that they went away from that and separated all three from each other through the rest of the movie.

Once, Repo Men hits the main storyline of the film, it just seems to drag on and get really boring. The main problem you run into is you just donâ(TM)t really care about what happens after halfway through the film.

The ending also falls flat, itâ(TM)s one of those movies that ends in one way and you seem content with it and then it tries to be too damn smart for its own good and changes the ending in a split second and really just leaves you annoyed and pissed that pretty much the ending which you actually did start getting into ended up not being what you thought it was.

Like I said before, you will enjoy Jude Law, Forrest Whitaker (I honestly canâ(TM)t remember the last time I seen him have this much fun in a role), and Liev Schreiberâ(TM)s performances. Problem is that everyone is seems to fall flat and the acting has a one note type of performance which makes the whole movie drag and get boring.

Overall, I would check it out for the beginning and the end, but just try and make it through the middle which sucks. If you really like it, buy it. If you donâ(TM)t , avoid it.
