Review of Repo Man (1984) by Jonathan A — 18 Aug 2008
Cult 80s film about a punk's redemption and misadventures as a repo man. Dated and extremely tacky, I usually don't use that phrase very often, but it's pretty funny how serious this movie takes it's "cool" factor.
It's also pretty uneven; one of those movies that tries to include a little bit of every genre, but the elements fail to flow smoothly. Still, the finale is pretty action-packed popcorn goodness, and there's a few funny lines of dialogue to be found in this one, unfortunately, the film struggled to keep my attention.
Good enough if there's nothing else.
