Review of Rendition (2007) by Maryanne M — 22 Jan 2009
I really loved this movie. The only thing from keeping it from getting 5 stars is that it does get a little too preachy at times. And it's somewhat predicable. But I thought it was very engaging with really great performances.
Some people question the casting of Gyllenhall, but I bought his character every step of the way. And Arkin and Streep steal every scene they're in. Gavin Hood is becoming one of my new favorite directors with this film and "Tsotsi".
