Review of Rendition (2007) by Mohamed F — 18 Dec 2008
Looks at CIA's "exraordinary rendition" policy with possibly innocent people kidnapped & tortured. In the class of Syriana and Body of Lies, but I think it is even better and more interesting than those two though I liked both of those.
Good plot, shows both "sides" (a group of fundamentalists muslim terrorists and the other bad guys, CIA and their local arabic allies) with their issues - family, love, politics, ...Highly recommended.
I learned a new term from this film: "asset" (agent), as in an asset is sent to take out a terrorist, or in turn other assets.
