Review of Rendition (2007) by Jake L — 24 Nov 2009
I'm not sure if I liked or disliked this movie. Still, it left me with ideas to think about. I liked the story/stories, but hated some of the acts. I deplore the way man often treats his fellow humans. So, I was angry for much of the time I watched. ~ I don't think it was too ambitious, too long, nor hard to understand (although the details of how phones are passed around - I guess satellite phone is key - aren't clear to me, yet not knowing that didn't detract from the film.) ~.
The acting was good, the cinematography kinda average although sometimes beautiful, the music was fitting.
On the DVD, it is definitely worthwhile listening to the director's commentary and the short documentary on rendering suspects for enhanced interrogation.
