Review of Rendition (2007) by Kareem Y — 14 Dec 2009

Takes awhile to get into gear but once into the second hour everything comes together and completely rocks. The acting is decent with Meryl Streep making her small role feel so much more and Reese Witherspoon surprising with her measured performance.

I did have to laugh at her playing footie with her kid at the start, she's pregant yet doesnt move like she is, only during the movie's more dramatic moments does she seem to remember and suddenly pace herself a little slower.

Decent but could have been sensational if it had only pulled out the stops a bit more in the first half.
