Review of Rendition (2007) by Gerron K — 08 May 2010
With such intense star power like Streep, Arkin, Gyllenhaal, not to mention Witherspoon and Sarsgaard, the movie comes across wooden and dismal. It's not altogether bad, but I just expected a whole lot more.
It's quite sloppily done. There are some compelling parts, including one sub-plot surrounding a couple in Africa. The reason it's interesting, is the chronology in how it's shown. Even so, the film lacks a lot.
