Review of Renaissance (2006) by Ben C — 25 Jul 2008
Uniquely rotoscoped in deep blacks and whites (with a few flourishes of lighting/transparency and color), but the visual style actually detracts quite a bit. This is a slow movie and the stark visuals make it feel even more boring.
Thankfully, there's an interesting plot development that causes the last third to pick up the pace.
