Review of Renaissance (2006) by John D — 16 Mar 2008
The animation can astound, though it's true that no one seems to be able to create lifelike movement or expression through digital animation, this film included. My main problem was that the plot was so shallow.
The moral implications of immortality are mentioned but never explored. A few of the characters say it's a bad thing, and from previous sci-fi flicks the audience knows this to be true, yet it wouldn't hurt to delve a little bit into your weighty subject matter.
