Went into it not really knowing what to expect. Great detective story with interesting characters and motives. I could certainly have done without the animation gimmick, though. I would prefer a straight-laced live action sci-fi thriller ala Minority Report or Paycheck, but apparently the animation helped with the small budget (15 million).
The futuristic environment painted was great to look at, but not all that original. Saw the film in English, may watch it a second time in French.
