Review of Renaissance (1967) by Paul W — 13 Apr 2008
Interestingly done in the current CGI trend a la "Through a Scanner Darkly" and "Beowulf" - although this one predates the latter. It's b/w, kinda dark, quiet so you have to really pay attention to keep up - not because of the complexity of the plot, however. The story line is sci-fi: corporate giant of a corporate future on the verge of discovering the secret to immortality all wrapped up in a murder/kidnap storyline.
This one is definitely worth a rental if you like "Blade Runner" type films or total CGI flicks.
