Review of Remember Me (2010) by Jonnyg. — 12 Mar 2010
The wife dragged me to this one, and I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. It held my interest throughout, and I thought it was well done. The end had quite a powerful twist. People who think it's offensive need to calm down.
It's not; it's reality. It happened. Are you mad about Saving Private Ryan? That was a fictional story in a nonfictional setting as well. It's not a "gimmick". You grow attached to these characters throughout the movie, and then something happens to them that actually occurred in real life.
It helps us empathize with the people who had loved ones involved with that incident. I was impressed with the ending.
