Review of Rejected (2000) by Luke F — 30 Jan 2008
Accepted! This deliciously idiotic and meaningless exploration into the primitive is breathtaking. It includes Beethoven's music and interesting animation techniques which involve the manipulation of the paper upon which the characters are drawn, and even a moment of wrong-handed drawing.
Any attempts at interpreting this nine and a half minute episodic cartoon would only lead to disappointment, so I wouldn't recommend trying. I simply enjoy the pleasure associated with such a digression into ruckus and confused laughter brought on by surreal and wonderfully demented experiences such as this.
