Review of Reindeer Games (2000) by Reed D — 21 Nov 2016
This is a terrible film. Ben Affleck is miscast. Early in his career he simply cannot shake his smarmy suburban jock persona, and it's completely inappropriate to his ex-con car thief role. Charlize Theron and Gary Sinise fare better, but their parts are so thin, they struggle to do anything interesting.
The plot of this film rests on a twist that is so gob smackingly idiotic it defies comprehension. I'm furious it wasted two hours of my time.
