Review of Reign Over Me (2007) by Joe N — 11 Feb 2011
4 out of 5 stars. Some people might not appreciate this movie as is a slow moving drama starring Adam Sandler. I find this movie very touching as Sandler plays Charlie Fineman, a man who once was a successful dentist who now struggles through life as he was impacted by a tragedy.
As a result of post traumatic stress, Charlie becomes withdrawn and depressed until a former college roommate helps to re-establish their friendship from many years ago. Reign Over Me reminds us of how difficult the grieving process can be and how one moment in time can significantly impact the rest of a person's life.
