Review of Reign Over Me (2007) by Bfoore90 — 06 Aug 2017

Hugely underrated movie, quality story and quality acting from all involved especially Adam Sandler. Sandler really puts in an effort and draws out one of his finest performances as the grief stricken almost to the point of madness Charlie Fineman, who lost his family on September 11th.

One thing I really felt that this story does well that most post-9/11 movies don't is let the event get in the way of it's characters and story development. The event is there and it happened, there were/are consequences but it doesn't take over the entire movie and beat you over the head about the event.

Its a great buddy film that focuses on friendship helping heal through loss.
