Review of Reign Over Me (2007) by Frances H — 03 Aug 2013

Powerfully moving film with many poignantly funny moments that showcases a side of Adam Sandler's acting ability that we don't normally see and proves how good he can be in a dramatic role. Don Cheadle gives his usually excellent performance also in this film dealing with grief and how differently we each cope with it, as well as being a paean to the kind of friendship that we all could do with.

At the same time it brings to the fore the kind of marriage problems all long term male/female relationships develop over the years. A really good movie and a must see.
